To date 118 ‘kits’ (wash clothes, hand towels, fingernail clippers, toothbrushes, hand soap, band aids & combs) have been assembled for our East Chip Haiti Relief Project. Collecting for this project will continue until Sunday February 14 for contributions. Money would be preferred so specific supplies can be purchased and shipping costs paid for.
The Friendship Class and several other classes have made significant donations to this cause.
Mary Martin and her husband, of Chippewa Church of the Brethren, have volunteered to take our kits and contributions as well as Chippewa’s to the New Windsor, MD Brethren Volunteer Service Center on Monday February 15.
The Witness Commission would like to thank everyone who contributed!
Contributions or any questions contact Rick Horst of the Witness Commission or the church office.

“On Tuesday, January 27th Cleo & Donna Everson and Wayne & Sandy Hochstetler visited Charlie Goody at his winter home near Altoona FL. The photo is taken in front of the giant cactus that Charlie planted at the side of his garage. After lunch at nearby restaurant we were treated back at Charlie’s house to some peach and apple pie that he had made for the occasion.”
“We all send warm greetings to our friends at East Chippewa.”
